All About Water: Timeline

Day 1 What Makes Water Special? This lesson will discuss the properties of water (3 states, evaporation, condensation, surface tension, adhesion). Students will do various demonstrations experiments to help them understand the concepts. 
Day 2 The Water Cycle. This lesson focuses on the water cycle. The students will learn how water moves in the atmosphere by doing a Webquest on the computer. 
Day 3 Water Works. The students will make their own mini-waterworks in this lesson. Students will also do a Water Works Webquest that explores a water treatment plant.
Day 4 Water Pollution. This lesson will discuss the threats to water and what pollution can do to the environment. Students will investigate pollution, its causes and effects by doing the Water Pollution Webquest. 
Day 5 Water Conservation. This lesson will discuss how students can make a difference and save water. Students will do a Webquest to find ideas on how they can save water. With that information, they will create a brochure about water conservation.
